This book consolidate the publication of statistics about land use and vegetation cover in Andalusia. Based on the information provided by satellite imagery, the methodology of this project has the CORINE Land Cover of the E.U. as nearest reference. However, and with respect to CORINE methodology, the authors have introduced important changes by improving the scale of land use spatial analysis and also by developping the european nomenclature from the original 64 units to the final 150 classes, so that the biophysical variability of the Andalusian territory can be much better represented.
